Talented youth from our community and the Enlace Street Outreach team designed and painted a new mural on the intersection of Hamlin and 30th St, by Gary and Ortiz de Dominguez Elementary Schools. The project was started with the idea of sending a positive message to children and youth in Little Village on a corner that previously had gang graffiti.
Community beautification is one way to stop some of the gang graffiti turf wars that happen in our community. The young people involved in the painting process are part of the solution.
