Enlace Chicago leads a comprehensive violence prevention initiative in the Chicago Metropolitan area, providing services ranging from school-based prevention work to advocacy for reform in juvenile justice policy. Staff and resources are organized to create a spectrum of services that are provided to the Little Village Community. The three domains of the organization’s comprehensive public safety work include: prevention, intervention, and organizing. In 2012, Enlace was recognized with the Chicago Community Trust Outstanding Community Strategy of the Year Award for its work in violence prevention.
